Darren Humphrey's Instructions for posting multiple pictures

The image below lists 3 fairly simple HTML codes which you can use to include multiple pictures along with your written message on this board and many other message boards that don't even list the optional dialogue box for single picture posting. The reason for the code being a jpeg image is due to the fact it cannot be typed into a board to show others without activating the code itself, which will then disappear.

Use a code for every picture you want to post, in one post - instead of numerous posts containing only one image. It's very easy to do and a big time saver for yourself and the people looking at all your pictures.

Each HTML code that contains a picture will need to be on a separate line so hit at least one "return" after each coded picture, much the same as you would to start a new paragraph of text. If you type any letter of the code wrong it won't work. You must get the capitalized letters right too.

Tips

• Copy this image to disk or print it off to remember codes.
• Type these codes into a word processing /email program and save it as "picture posting codes". Easy enough to go back to in the future, open up to copy and paste if your not the best at remembering HTML.
• Write lengthy posts in a word processing program or email program like Outlook Express where you can compile a post by copying and pasting url's for images. You can save them as drafts...cause it sure stinks losing a post after all that typing. Plus it's much easier to cross post the exact same message with pictures on numerous boards.
• Most boards have a preview button where you can double check to make sure your photos and text appear as desired.
• USE http://www.shutterfly.com for posting photos. HP PHOTO is not reliable for posting photos on boards.
